St. Joseph Terrace Private School is a non-denominational, Christian Institution.  It’s named after St. Joseph  Village in San Fernando as it was first housed there and registered in 1956. It was nicknamed Todd’s after the first Principal/Proprietress,
Mrs. Nancy Forbes –Todd. Most of the pupils in the early days were children of expatriates, Colonial Government Workers.

 

More locals were accepted in 1972 by a new owner, Mr. Albert Watkins (Jr) a Trinidadian, who also started the Kindergarten department in 1978. The school changed hands in 1989. Ms. Carole Walrond, current principal and Ms. Anne Marie Pierre were among the persons who acquired the institution which is now located at 21 Arch Street, Vistabella.

With God being our helper we continue to perform credibly with our students being placed in their schools of choice and we have been blessed by having an input in the lives of several National Scholarship Winners. To God be The Glory.
